From full-time employment to a full-time freelancer career is one of the most risky careers should I ever make. Almost 11 years industry of Ship repair as a Certified Industrial Engineer, Quality Assurance, and Quality Control Manager, and willing to pursue my career as a freelancer career.
Yes, there are a lot of doubts to pursue, maybe I can't do it, maybe I will be failed.
In the meantime, I'm overthinking, I am afraid to lose my full-time employment job. But somehow I need to do so since I have big dreams to come true even though I'm already 41 years of age but still dreaming big. It's not only for my good but for my family, relatives, and other people needing my help.

Exploring, doing research, and so on, what is FREELANCER for almost a year. I attended and paid for a lot of training on how to become a successful freelancer, I think almost 6 training I attended for 2 years but I never succeed and still can't understand what freelancer is all about.
I never surrender, I continue to explore and research until I've found the SURGE. I scroll, read, and criticized their advertisement on Facebook, I started following their page, and I enrolled in Freelancing ( Virtual Assistance Course) and In-depth Course: Project Management and Data Analytics

Reasons why I Choose a Freelancer career?
Factors like personal and family life, side interests and hobbies, and the desire to travel all factor into the reasons to choose to freelance.
I decided to become a freelancer, having a general understanding of the freelance lifestyle and what it's like for freelance these days.
Here are some of the top reasons I choose to freelance:
1. Work-Life Balance
The top reason I chose to freelance, is to attain a healthier work-life balance. for a better "rhythm" between career and life goals drive my reasons for wanting to be a freelancer.
2. Desire to Choose When I Work
Work schedule flexibility was a huge motivator in choosing to freelance. Flexible schedule freelance jobs can provide the ultimate in choosing what hours and days I work.
3. Freedom
Many of the reasons I freelance share a common factor: freedom. The general concept of having the freedom to make choices that suit my life was a huge reason to freelance.
4. Desire to Choose Where I Work
Work flexibility often comes free of any obligation to live in a certain geographical area. To be able to move without worrying about losing my job and the freedom to work from anywhere.
5. Desire to Be My Own Boss
The freelance lifestyle can bring with me the freedom to control my own workload and the kind of work I choose to do.
6. Desire to Choose My Own Projects
What kind of work brings me satisfaction, or even joy? I wanted the ability to choose my own projects. Whether I want to juggle multiple freelance projects at once, or just one rewarding gig, the freelance life can give me the freedom to choose.
7. Family
Family concerns were a top reason to freelance. Successful freelancers often find they need structure and boundaries, especially when working from home and having to make decisions between freelance or family.
8. Commute Stress
In traditional jobs, the sheer stress of getting back and forth to work can be a joy killer. I want to freelance as a way of eliminating commuting costs, both time-wise and money-wise.
9. More Productive
Working from home (an advantage many freelancers have) makes people more productive.
10. Time Savings
I would prefer to freelance to save time and have a more efficient overall day. The time savings benefits of freelancing can include enjoying more time with family, relatives, and friends, and cultivating personal interests and hobbies.
